Description: A hybrid walk that combines the history and architecture of suburban Tonbridge with the splendours of Haysden Country Park.
Length: 3.33 miles /5.33 km (approximately 1-2 hours)
Grade: Not too tough
Good for: Local history
Walk 23: The Paper Trail
Description: A short but challenging circular walk from Dunks Green to the edge of Mereworth woods. The route features countless orchards, beautiful views and sleepy country lanes.
Length: 4 miles /6.47 km (approximately 2 hours)
Grade: A little challenging
Good for: A walk for all seasons
Walk 17: A Winters Tale
Description: A Christmas cracker of a walk, taking you on a festive ramble around the Penshurst Estate.
Length: 2.93 miles / 4.7 km (approximately 1.5 hours, longer if stopping at Penshurst Place enroute)
Grade: Not too tough (this will be more challenging when muddy)
Good for: A Boxing Day walk
Walk 15: The Castle On The Hill
Description: A circular walk to the picture-perfect Tudor village of Chiddingstone, including a visit to the mythical Chiding Stone, spectacular hilltop views and the opportunity to explore the curious castle.
Length: 4.06 miles / 6.5 km (approximately 2 hours, longer if visiting Chiddingstone Castle and the village)
Grade: Leisurely
Good for: Tudor history and rural tranquillity
