Hop Garden Road - June 1977

Street parties and celebrations took place across Tonbridge as the town celebrated Queen Elizabeth and her silver Jubilee. Anne Clement remembers street parties from that summer and subsequent jubilees, whilst Scott Wishart recalls long hot summers and childhood memories from this North Tonbridge street.
