“they were coming through at break neck speed, there was no slowing down!”
Scott Wishart

The Tour De France - July 2007

The Tour De France returned to Kent, having previously passed through the county in the summer of 1994. This time round stage 1 was taking placing between London and Canterbury and a young Mark Cavendish was making his tour debut. Tonbridge featured prominently on the route as one of the King of the Mountains climbs took place at Quarry Hill. Scott Wishart and Anne Clement were some of the thousands of spectators that were there that day - listen to them share some of their memories with James Pavlou of Walk Tonbridge.
