Walk 21: The Milk Train
Description: A gorgeous circular pub walk from Leigh to The Greyhound at Charcott, returning via the Penshurst estate. The walk features millions of bluebells, a bizarre shoe tree and a secretive nuclear bunker.
Length: 5.5 miles / 8.89 km (approximately 2-3 hours, longer if stopping at The Greyhound en-route)
Grade: Leisurely
Good for: Bluebells and cold war history
Walk 18: Finding Gandhi
Description: A photogenic history walk exploring the growth of the town and its industrial past.
Length: 3.56 miles / 5.7 km (approximately 1.5 hours, longer if stopping at pubs enroute)
Grade: Not too tough
Good for: Urban photography and a (nearly) mud free walk.
Walk 9: Tales From The Shire
Description: A nostalgic trip round Hildenborough and its surrounding countryside, exploring the people and places that have contributed to the history of the village.
Length: 6.9 miles / 11.12 km (approximately 3-4 hours, longer if stopping at Ridings Cafe, The Half Moon or Hilden Manor)
Grade: Leisurely
Good for: Scenic views and local history.
Walk 7: The Long Way Home
Description: A long scenic walk that takes you from North Tonbridge up to the pretty village of Shipbourne and back via copious amounts of woodland and majestic views.
Length: 7.6 miles / 12.2 kilometres (approximately 3-4 hours), longer if stopping at The Chaser.
Grade: A little challenging
Good for: Woods. Lots and lots of woods.
Walk 5: The Pillbox Safari
Description: Travel back in time on a long flat walk that takes you from the High Street to wartime Tonbridge via a cracking country pub and a tranquil stretch of the River Medway.
Length: 4.6 miles / 7.3 km (approximately 2-3 hours, longer if stopping at the Plough)
Grade: Leisurely
Good for: Wartime history.
Walk 3: The Goldsmid Trail
Description: A beautiful walk taking in the grandeur of Somerhill House, the famous Chagall stained glass windows at Tudeley and some gorgeous countryside.
Length: 4 miles / 6.4 km (approximately 2-3 hours, longer if stopping to appreciate All Saints church)
Grade: Leisurely
