Kit List

We recommend that you take a rucksack which is small enough to carry 26.2 miles but large enough to hold the below items…

A mobile phone

Power pack and charge cable (to charge your phone up)

Waterproof jacket (it’s better to take it and not need it as my Mum would say)

Sun cream (sunburn is not fun, especially after walking 26.2 miles)

Sunglasses (we like to think that there will be some sunshine for your big day!)

Hat (there’s not much shade when you are out of the woods and sunstroke is not cool)

Refillable water bottle (make sure this is one you can carry comfortably when full as you don’t want to make this beast of a walk any harder)

Camera (we would love to see some pictures of your marathon – please share these on Instagram using #walktonbridge and #walktonbridgefestival or e-mail them to walktonbridge@gmail.com

First aid kit (to include plenty of plasters, antiseptic cream)

Spare pair of socks (or two. These will be a god send if your feet are wet or sweaty)

Insect repellent (the only bug we want you to get bitten by is the walking bug!)

Food (lunch and plenty of snacks to keep you going throughout your walk)

Loose change (or notes!) as there will be further opportunities to donate to Sustain en-route.
